What TV shows did you watch as a kid?
On Blue Peter, I Always Remember the Ship : Tall & Steady : Wheel-locked – & Anchor Up. & Therefore Understood/Knew That It was Definitely going to be A Ship-A-Hoy!!! Day. (They, The Presenters like Valerie Singleton, John Noakes & Peter Thought me how to Make things – They Kept Saying : “And Here’s One We Prepared Earlier…”)
Play School was a Revelation. I named my Bears after Big Ted & Little Ted : Very Original! 😃 Paddington via London Joined them Later. They are like Madeleine’s Bears : they too like having Picnics. I Really Enjoyed Looking Through the 3 Windows. My favorite was the Square One – Again Very Original 😃!!
Hamble & Jemima, those English Dolls were always very Quiet.They Never said much. In fact – if I remember Correctly : They Said Nothing at All – about Anybody or Anything to Anyone!!! 😃 They were just There. They Watched & Observed. They Knew Everything. I felt Protected.
With Sesame, The Children’s Television Workshop, I learnt some Lettering & also Numbers. I Can Really see All the Characters Right now, in front of me – probably Still causing Chaos ❤️
Oscar, was A Real Grouch – He just Didn’t like People All That much Can’t Say I Blame him – They are Strange & Mostly Annoying. I Try Stay As far Away from them as I possibly can.
My 1st pet was a Crocodile – you guessed it…named After Sesame Street’s Guy Smiley.
Like Hamble, Jemima, & The Bears – Guy Protected me Too.
The New Avengers, The Professionls also inspired me to keep out of Harms way & Inspired me not to Wreck the Joint out of blind Frustration. I liked – I think her name was : Honor Blackman & also Purdy, Steed & Gambit. & of Course Brody & Doyle.
Starsky & Hutch were Sensational in Downtown San Francisco (or LA???) Definitely California. The Red White Striped Car, the Mustang, I recollect? & the Flying Cardboard Boxes Through the Alleyways & Along came the Wiley Huggy Bear.
